City Serve: Upcoming Service Project-Sleep In Heavenly Peace

Hi City Serve group!

We have an awesome opportunity with a new non-profit that we have not gotten to work with before!  Read these details and think about if this project might be a good fit for you to join in. 

All children deserve a safe, comfortable place to lay their heads. Across the US, too many boys and girls go without a bed—or even a pillow—to sleep on. These children end up sleeping on couches, blankets, and even floors.

Join us in helping the organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace make beds for children in need right here in our own community!

You do not need previous knowledge in construction or even with tools to be able to participate, but it is helpful. Children ages 10+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult and make sure they are mature to be outward focused.   

This event will take place on October 4th from 8-10AM at
